I was listening to my MP3 CD as usual then suddenly I lost all audio and all I can hear is a pulsating screech "screech...screech...screech...screech..." I lost volume control. Even if I turned off audio it still screeches. Do I have a blown out amp/speaker? How much would it be to fix it at Lexus dealership? Or should I take it to my own autoshop? Thanks.

I went to Toronto Lexus Downtown and they quoted me CDN$3100 to replace the amplifier. There's no way I'm going to let them make that kind of money off me. I would like to know now if there're any local shops that can service the amplifier. Also, are there any aftermarket solution that I can just plug all the existing plugs into it?
