Regardless, I don't think missing one LED projector is going to change the look. There may have been a loss of one more projector for the low beams, but you gain more LEDs in other locations:
High Beams:
How do the fogs go with high beams simultaneously? In the U.S., as for as I know, it's required to shut off fogs when the high beams are on. But if this is new and legal for led headlights, I like this feature.

Yes I agree, especially for the standard LS460, LS460L & LS600h versions! The non-painted cross bar area for the F-Sport model looks great and is more in line with the overall front fascia appearance, but Lexus should have at least offered a option to have the dark cross bar painted body color.

I think both iterations of the car look great. If both body styles were available to customers, I'm guessing half would take the old (like my wife would) and half would take the new (like I would). I don't mind the slight sporty air that the 2013 has. It still looks classy enough that you could drive it to a black tie event....

There is a lot more going on in the spindle on the LS
I am surprised nobody has mentioned the chrome edge detail around the spindle. It really catches the light. The "mouth" juts out more on the F Sport and the lower air dam is more pronounced. It took my brain a little time to adjust to this look but now i like the more exaggerated F Sport version with the mesh grille and fog details.

The whole line up with new spindle grille is growing on me.
The real wow factor comes from comparing the interiors. 2013 will have a wow factor in terms of materials, layout, and functionality.
Should make GS owners really happy too. Makes it look like you're getting a lot of car for the money.
