New seats - help
Hey guys,
I need to get my front driver seat and passenger seat replaced because they look so beaten down. The cushion is almost gone and looks very wrinkly. I want to claim it from the lexus warranty so i just wanted a suggestion from you guys that what should i tell them.
I really need to come up with the excuse because i doubt they will let me change it if i tell them that its getting wrinkly and the cushion is gone.
So please let me know that what should i go tell them??
thanks

Wishing you good luck... I purchased my 600HL with 15K miles on it and the front seats were worn worse than my old Volvo that had 240K miles on it that I got in and out of 10-12 times a day... Called / wrote all the Lexus powers that be. Had Lexus reps come into my local dealership - they would do nothing They put it on the selling dealer offered to replace the seats for the original owner at their expense. He wouldn't do it because he thought it was a poor quality issue that Lexus should handle. Unfortunately, he passed away before they addressed the issue. After 3 months of no response from lexus, I bit the bullet and had the seats redone myself. So, if no luck - send your seats to these guys (http://www.leatherseats.com/), They do fabulous work. I drove car down and met up with family for week long vacation and flew back into OK City as opposed to sending seats in.

Yes - my car. I have The 2008 Neiman Marcus Edition 600HL. Love it. When I had the seats redone. I changed the color to match the two tone on the doors. Original color of seats was all Alabaster. I changed to:
- black inserts in the middle / alabaster on the sides on front and back (back seats were fine - but wanted to match
- center console in front and back to black
- wrapped lower b-pillars in black
I like the look.
