Update for today, I took the wheel to a reputable wheel repair shop and after examining the wheel they said it is not repairable at all. I thought this was BS at first, but after going and asking a few other people it was confirmed. I also went and changed out the battery and headed to discount tire to see what a new replacement wheel would cost. Turns out they don't make the same wheel anymore in my offsets and that the newer ones were on back order for a while as well. I don't think I want to pay for two new front wheels. They felt bad for me and gave me a free road force balance for free lol.
BTW the reason they said that the wheel is not repairable is because it was cracked and the center was thrown off or something. They said even if attempted it wouldn't meet DOT standards to drive on...idfk LOL

Hey, not sure if you caught my earlier reply but Vossen stopped making 35mm offsets and now only offer 30mm for the 22x9 CV1s. So you can either have the new wheel back pad shaved down 5mm..(don't recommend) or get a 5mm spacer to even it out on the one side (not sure if that is good either)..or, two new wheels...which really sucks! I am getting 3mm spacers for mine so i can run a better 265/30 size for my 600

I ask some wheel specialist about running a spacer to compensate, but they recomended that I do not do that. Btw discount tire will refuse to work on a car with spacers.(for some reason), and i've also had a personal bad experince with spacers on other cars.

Becareful with those spacers!

Wow, man getting two new wheels would just blow!! Looks like the wheel is a lost cause..another option is to surf the net to see if someone is selling an old set of fronts..keep one for a spare..but that is in a perfect world though. Maybe Vossen has some old one's laying around in the back corners of the warehouse or a demo wheel they used for shows? Miiiiiike? lol

Spacers..thats why I started a new thread on the 3mm spacer question..I can't find anything negative except folks on other forums had NON hub centric spacers and they caused vibration, but the hub centric ones did not. folks runnin them on bmws and other heavy cars...what issues did you have may I ask? you can PM me to keep your thread on topic

Iv'e been looking around for some older cv-1's, no luck yet. We called up the vossen warehouse and they said they have nothing available anymore which was a bummer. I'm still awaiting Mike's response, (gotta put the Batman signal up lol).

I think you should be fine with small spacers like that, especially being hub-centric and all that good ish. I was running 25mm-35mm on my old G to get that factory flush-ness with a drop. Lots of things went wrong lol mostly because I was stupid. Killed performance too.

Now i'm debating to go for the VIP's or the 80" tv iv'e been saving up for

sorry to hear about your problems, adam, hurts to see... it's a real dilemma on the wheels, definitely sux if you have to get 2 new front wheels. i wouldn't go with the spacer route either

I think you should pick up VIP modulars. Same thing happened to me and I was riding on rim for a good 15 secs but nothing happened. Wheels are perfectly fine. Those forged wheels are truly amazing!

those vossens look good on your car too. sorry to see that damage. it seems repairable... i seen worse. but of course the integrity of the wheel strength at that spot may be compromised. best to replace it. imo =)

Haha, oddly I was in the same posisition and I ended up with the VIP Modulars and I think I made the right decision.
