Hi all,
i am having issues with height and noise in the suspension and want to eliminate the ASR as the cause so want to disable it.
I disconnected it and the car threw all kinds of errors and to test it i tried hitting 'high height' and that threw an error too and the height wouldnt change.
So i figured that i cant just disconnect it to allow me to test the car without the ASR.
Is there a way to do this?

Did you plug the connectors back into the main circuit board?

i didnt, no. i thought in order to do that id need to re-pin them. i didnt do the conversion so not aware how it is done. if its a harness where the repinning is done at the plugs then that'd be good!!
id need to then just work out how to take all the covers off and just plug back in eh?!

Yes, you have broken the circuit by unplugging the device. You will have to take it all apart and get behind thr glove box to put them back on the main circuit. Your errors will go away after. Once you get good at it, it will only take you 15mins or so.
There are step by step guides on this site.

I’m fully aware that plugging in the speed cable will disable the car from additional lowering during freeway speeds when NOT in normal mode.
I also know while in normal mode, the suspension continuously adjusts while driving, regardless of speed.
(My Indy had techstream connected & noticed the constant adjustments when he was troubleshooting my suspension prior to me having Datasystem)
My question is, IF the speed cable is plugged in & I’m not in normal mode (3 & 3, which is my preferred setting) does this disable the continuous height leveling while driving?
Im very particular about even ride height, & have noticed visual variances in ride height, particularly on the front corners.
I haven’t installed speed cable yet. Planning on tackling this w/ in a week.

I have a asr681 2 & H-087i on my ‘13.
I recently hooked up the speed sensor, but it wasn’t working, as the height would still lower at fwy speeds.
I took everything apart today to realize that the single speed sensor wire that’s connected to the harness on female connector, doesn’t have a male connection when plugged into the car.
In other words, the female plug from harness has the speed sensor wire on bottom row, 4th pin from bottom left corner of plug. However, the male connection on the LS, doesn’t have any metal pins that would plug into the bottom row, 4 down.
I know the H-087i is the correct harness for 13+. Perhaps the harness for speed sensor is for pre ‘13 models & packaged incorrectly?
If anyone has same experience or has a speed sensor cable not in use & can send me a pic of the female plug from harness…that would make my day!

Is the chassis selection for the 2017 ls f sport the same as the others? Chassis '77' selection?
Also, is taking it apart to install the harness the same as the instructions for earlier models?
I'm attempting it this weekend.

It was a bit different than my 2012. I didn't have to take off the dash molding above the glove box which was nice.
