Maintainence in South Florida ... Need brakes ASAP
Hey guys,
Im due for my brakes (85k). Does anyone have a recommendation of a mechanic or person to install them? Dealership quoted me 600.00 for front n back.
I am considering looking for coupons online for Toyota and going over to Toyota of Pembroke Pines. Also, I wonder how a dealership feels installing brake pads that I furnish. I plan on buying akebono(sp) brake pads as recommended by the forums.
BTW the akebono pads seem to cost 60 for the front and 60 for the back. Are they OEM? Does anyone have a website they use and trust?
Please let me know your thoughts,
One again thanks!

Looked up brakes and costs. After a little bit of clublexus research ...
117.99 for front and back ceramic from akebono at www.placeforbrakes.com
Now ... All I need is a installer or a user who could use some cash and some good company lol ...

Brake replacements
Brakes are generally easy to install, but if you do not want to do it yourself and the dealer wants $600, then I would think $180 might be a good price. Does this include the sensors for passenger side front and rear?
