My dealer uses semi synthetic, Change it every 5000 miles, No problem

Toyota dealers frequently use semi synthetic on older cars (I guess it's a cost issue). I've never seen a Lexus dealer use anything but synthetic for more recent cars (2000+).
Common sense should prevail. Use full synthetic in any modern car. And 0w20 vs 5w30 would only make a difference in Canada or Alaska (remember, these oil recommendations are frequently just to eek out an extra 0.1mpg for CAFE purposes).

You can go back. It won't hurt anything. The new 5w-30 will dilute the remaining 0w-20.

People should ALWAYS use the recommended weight. You can mess up an engine by using a heavier/lighter weight oil than what the engine was designed for.

0w-20 and 5w-20 have identical operating kinematic viscosity. One is just better flowing on first start and higher quality than the other
