[QUOTE=l The audi's/C class/ Jag all had under 20,000 miles.. and they were all perfect. Perhaps I had to take the lexuses in, on occasion for warranty work but the german cars didn't need any warranty work either. The s class came with a failed navigation system, at delivery. lol.

I do think this is a powerful trend. Reliability, durability and conservative styling wrapped up for 250,000 miles of driving pleasure vs new, bold, impact for 20,000 miles driving. When these costs balance or approach a worth it premium the market appears to prefer updated models more. Leasing is a true creative financial tool that taps the market very well.

Now just wait until those Euros are off lease and your paying big bill or worse, out of warranty. What would you rather be driving then? hit 100,000 miles and apply for an equity credit line ..

Just look at the depreciation and how that works for the value buyer for a solid 2008 LS for around $35K.. to me that's a bargain especially when a new 2008 Chev Impala SS cost $35K new.

I'm very biased on the LS vs any other lux brand because it holds up so well in comparison especially when were talking high mileage.. However I do concede Euro styling and presence is world class at launch but tends to date rather quickly.
