5000k or 6000k ?
So planning to change my low beams. stock is too yellow looking especially next to my new LED DRLs now
I have 5000k on my Camry but I am stuck between the 5000k & 6000k colors for the LS460.
I want that Benz bright white with a very very slight tint of blue look. when I say "very" I mean it. don't want a blue light. I want a white light with just a barely noticeable tint of blue.
Now the 35W 5000k from DDM Tunning on my Camry look just plain white. Bright and white. A little more blue in them would be perfect. But too much would make it look too aftermarket for my taste
Can anyone post pictures of LS460 with 5000k or 6000k low beams? I guess it depends on the car and the lamp. Some 6000k will look more blue then others..
guess my ideal color would be 5500k. too bad they don't make that.
On the same note, has anyone used these before:
inexpensive compared to other options out there, but was wondering how they hold up and how bright they actually are.
thx for you help!

You didn't search enough or you would of still been reading up on Tee's 5k setup with pics... Tip: use Google to search threads and adding ClubLexus.com, LS460 and your topic in the search string and you will have more than enough LS460 info to chew on..trust me on this. I do it all the time to narrow down what I am looking for but I know Tee's and other 5k and 6k threads on the 460 are out there..my vote is for 5k

still not sure what to get though...5000k or 6000k....
the one I'm looking at on Amazon says "Diamond White" for 6000k so not sure how blue that would be
plus the Amazon one looks similar to the one linked to by Tee just $14 cheaper. (http://www.theretrofitsource.com/sho...t.php?pID=3180)
probably both made in Korea/China and similar quality

I suggest going with 5K over 6K due better light output, its a good compromise between 4300K (OEM) and 6K temp. You will get white light output with the blue tint we like click on the link below and scroll down to post #96 for more info.

The LED DRL's are 6-7K range but will match up with the 5K low beams nicely.
