Maaaaannnn, sorry to bug you guys but I have some questions regarding VAIStech ML+ capabilities in the LS460 specifically.

I just bought a used 07 LS460 with Nav and ML audio system. I've been thinking about picking up the VAIS ML+ system but I'm not 100% sure on what it's capable of. I think it does what I want it to.....

I believe with the ML+ I can play videos from an iPhone 4S (or an iPod video for that matter) on the factory navigation screen, correct ? But here are my main questions after searching for over an hour:

I used to have a 2000 GS300 with a Kenwood dnx8120 DVD/NAV headunit that allowed me to just plug in my iphone and play music videos from it, and have touchscreen capabilities as far as selecting the next/previous video. I'm hoping to have a similar feature with the ML+

1) if you create a playlist of videos, you can select next video, etc... but you can't "choose" from video list. that's what i last heard

2) with the ml+ you can play video when driving by punching in the code. it still doesn't enable the factory dvd changer video playback i think, and won't enable you to use the nav

3) it's compatibility problem, it's not resolved and i am not sure if it will. i think you need to make sure you have the self park feature?

 

I have one and u must have the self parking and in order to watch video while driving from your factory DVD u must be able to turn off your gps on the navi.
