can anyone help me out, my family owns a ls 460 and recently the trunk will not open with the key, or the interior release. could this be a fuse? any suggestions? thank you!

Your car is equipped with a feature to secure the trunk for valet parking. This is implemented by disabling the electrical release of the trunk, via a switch in the glove compartment, and then locking the glove compartment with the mechanical key and taking the mechanical key with you.

You should check the disable switch to see if it has been inadvertently set to disable the trunk release.
