This Thread should be "Serpentine belt replacement and then radiator replacement" Broke the damn overflow tube even when reading about the warning to beware ! If it breaks that easily then it is time to replace. Mine was epoxied on and the tube was a little clogged. Luckily the diy was very doable and I spent $150 on a Denso radiator and 2 gallon of Toyota antifreeze for $35

not sure it works. In short. the owner dipped the belt into 303 chemical.

Thank you for good instruction on how to replace the belt with detail pictures. I was able to replace mine in 30min.
One more note is that when replacing the belt I lean on the radiator connector that going to overflow and break it. This connector is made of plastic and was known for very weak. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS.

HA HA HA !! Same think happened to me and several others. Better that it breaks now vs driving on a road trip. Go to auto parts store and get a brake fitting that you can screw into the hole. Add some Teflon tape on the threads . You may have to make the radiator hole diameter wider to make the fitting work. I used a wide flathead screw driver and spun it in the hole to widen it. You can use a drill bit also to wide the hole to the necessary size. Radiator diy wasn't to difficult. Grab a Denso radiator from Rockauto or Amazon

Awesome, awesome write up sir. I'm going to be replacing belt soon. No squeaks just preventive maintenance. Any tips to avoid breaking the tube that everyone seems to break?

Put some type of small box cover around the tube. Maybe an electric box? Even if you go into the job being very careful, all it takes is your mind wandering a little and then you realize you are leaning on the hose and it breaks off from the radiator.
