Just to set the record straight. If you check out the post below you will see there was a 2008 AWD in Russia. (The only reason I read this thread so closely was because this post was the first reference I found to the AWD vibration problem that has plagued my ownership experience until recently).

Unless the OP is shopping for a CPO LS in Russia the fact that there was a 2008 AWD LS in Russia isn't going to do him much good. He's looking in the US...where there was no AWD LS until 2009

I did end up getting it last night! It was CPO, but I extended it out to 6yrs/100k. So far it's great! I used the radar cruise last night on my way home. Got an average of ~27mpg and I'm still trying to find out all of the details about this car. I think the driver door speaker may need to be replaced though.
