What are y'all doing for audio streaming? 07-09
I am coming from a '10 GS, so I was spoiled with the BT streaming audio. Is there anything comparable or an add on like Vaistech that will work with the iPhone 5? I'd love to be able to (have my son) watch the movies from my phone on the nav screen as well, if possible.

This looks like the Blackberry Bluetooth Gateway is best option for Bluetooth audio streaming. It will not interfere with placing and receiving telephone calls via factory radio.
I spoke to VAIS about Bluetooth for my SC 430 since I have a VAIS SL2i-UP. They said they don’t like Bluetooth because of degradation of audio quality so they don’t have a solution with Bluetooth.
My 2012 CT has Bluetooth steaming audio and it’s great.

1. Is there anything comparable to his 2010 GS for BT, Bluetooth, audio streaming?
2. Would like to watch videos
The Blackberry Bluetooth Gateway is a simple self installed solution that will take care of Bluetooth audio steaming request. Audio streaming without connecting you iPod/phone etc with wires
The VAIS unit will take care of the ability to which videos
I'm not aware of any single add on device that does both, Unfortunately.
For me what I miss the most is Bluetooth audio streaming. When on road trips I always listened to Pandora radio or BOSE radio app. With the Bose radio app I can listen to favorite radio stations from either NY, Greece, Germany etc. and never go out of range. While waiting for my Blackberry Gateway to arrive I connect my iPhone to the 3.5mm aux input jack in the center console.
I have a $99 portable DVD player for my grandson to watch movies.
Hope this helps.

Is the ml+ worth getting if they are trying to adapt the iPhone to the ivic? Lastly, the streaming is all through the cable, right? Nothing wireless?
Thanks for everyone's help! Are there any reviews on cl for the ml+ unit?

With the Blackberry A2DP, is it just a plug in, set it up, and forget it device? I'd like something that can stay powered and charged via the aux port and stream quality music to my Levinson system. I plan on keeping it in the center counsel and would like to be able to have it recognize my phone when I hit the aux dash button without having to hit any buttons on the device. If this is not the best solution, is there another reasonably priced device out there that can accomplish this with quality sound?
I'm not interested in any expensive video solutions as there are enough distracted drivers on the road and I don't need to be another.

I don't personally have this device but from what I have read about it:
1. The audio out from this device plugs into the Aux IN of the car that is in the center console.
2. It needs a power source. You can plug in a cigarette lighter charging device into the outlet in the center console.
3. Once you pair it you don't need to do anything more. It will pair up each time you enter your car.
4. However you can only control the playlist and track selection from the device.
