Buy it or pass...?

The 2010 ES350 was my wife's "old" car. When we got her 2013 GS450h last November, I traded in my 2007 LS460 (it was worth more than the ES plus with the LS facelift, was at risk for a bigger depreciation hit (I think) if my replacement took a long time to acquire). I just about cried real tears the day I turned in my LS and she tossed me the keys to the ES. The whole exercise was actually a step down for me followed by a return to my beloved LS.
Curiously, I came to appreciate the ES350's nature over the 9k miles I put on it. Reasonably comfortable, reasonably peppy, reasonably agile, reasonably attractive - in short, reasonable. Now however, I can shuck that unwelcome veneer of reasaonableness and indulge my every whim in sumptuous luxury, outrageous acceleration, lateral g's to die for, and a wake of gaping jaws. YEE-HAA - I'm back!

Makes more sense that you're a previous LS owner! I always figured I would wind up in an LS eventually, it was my Dad's LS's that got me into the brand, but I dunno if I'll ever be able to bring myself to spend $85k Bearing in mind that I spent about what he spent for his first LS on my GS. They keep moving my cheese!
