I too prefer bit of chrome touch to match door and trim. However would prefer tone between hyper silver (this wheel color) and chrome. When doing chrome plating on wheels, can the color tone be controlled?.
Yes, chrome PVD process can give bright chrome or black chrome finish. One helpful site is Detroit Wheel and Tire. I hope to go with them when the time comes.

I don't know if chrome plating offers similar bright and dark options. BTW, did you swap your 5 spokes for the split 7s? Buying a complete 2nd set of five wheels and tires is an expensive proposition.

Thanks AC, I came to know about Detroit wheel when I was looking into purchase new wheel, I will check with them on PVD.

I ended purchasing a new set from eBay seller oexwheels. My OEM 5 spoke was 19", so didn't have to get new tires. Paid $800 shipped for 4 wheels.

Gets lots of positive comments on the color actually. Interior is cashmere (i think thats what its called). Has the semi aniline leather upgrade, ML sound, heated and cooled rear, reclining rear seats, fancier headliner material, leather door panels. One owner car, they were 82 years old when they traded it on a RX350. Yep, originally driven by a little old lady and old man!
It's funny how that light brown color attracts the older folks! I found my 2006 SC430 in a very similar color in Ok City, being sold by the estate of an older couple who had both passed away. The car had 18K miles and still smelled new! Here's a shot of it for those who still admire the SC430s (even in this "old-person's color")...

Forget the SC430 (looks new btw) lets talk more about your "showroom" floor!

Actually, that photo was taken on the showroom floor at my local Lexus dealer on the day I took delivery (last summer). I wish my own garage floor looked like that, though! ;-)

Thank you. It is lowered with Avest lowering links found on Amazon. I tried lowering it with techstream when I first got the LS about 7 months ago but was only able to lower it about .8in. It is lowered about 2-2.5in in the picture. I drive with the height high setting on.

I got spotted! Haha. I think it was the person driving an IS that took the picture.

Thanks! This is really great information. Please post details of your installation with pics if possible. Many CLers have wondered about the Datasystems controller versus lowering links, and it would be helpful to have more details. What was the total cost of going this route (Avest)?
