Why is my parking assist muted?

Maybe I am going overboard with this, but do you have an actual P button on the left lower side of dash as well as parking sensors that are visible around the front and rear bumpers? As long as that P switch is on, there are no other settings to make it display on the Nav screen or dash cluster as SBLexus said...I'm starting to wonder if you have that option altogether to be honest

No sensors on bumpers??? looks like you don't have parking sensors..or, you may want to investigate what is behind those bumper covers. I can't imagine you having the P button with no sensors in the bumpers and not having an error being thrown...was your car ever wrecked or damaged and they shortcutted the repair? This just sounds very random.
Here is what a 2007 to 2009 LS with parking sensors looks like as well as the 2010 to 2012..if you don't see those, you don't have parking sensors..but I can't explain the P button you have at all..

yes, i just went outside and turned on the parking assist and it now works as you guys described it. I have to say one thing guys, you guys are EXTREMELY helpful which is not something i can say about other forums. All of you have done nothing else other than answer my questions without being bothered by them. I guess you must believe that the only stupid question there is IS THE ONE YOU DON'T ASK....

the only thing that is getting on my nerves on this car are the headlights... the ls600 headlights are not looking any better than the stock lights. do you know if the ls600 lights can also be adjusted like the original ls460 lights?

i am starting to believe the same thing...i just dont get it, why are they 6 grand then? i mean, they are supposed to be the best headlights that lexus makes. They are as bright to me as those altezza aftermarket headlights...not very bright at all.. and yet, they are LED?

Well, they should be aimed upward more, I'd imagine. As far as I understand, they are just the future of lights and are supposed to mimic actual daylight as opposed to just lighting up the dark. I don't get it yet. Let CJITTY come and school us on the LED's.

Park Assist
This is an option and it cost $500. All of the Lexus vehicles I have owned have had the system. But it is an option. If it is not on your invoice or you do not have the button on the dash as stated above, you do not have Park Assist.

Glad to see you got your situation resolved. I also see that you have 305 in your name. Miami perhaps? If anything, I might b able to help with some of the issues you might have. There's also a group of us lexus guys that always have meets and get togethers. Would love to have another LS join.

My LS600hL LED headlights are bright as hell..I have owned a 460 as well and I like the wide and far reaching LED light pattern far better..not sure why people hate on the 600 headlights so damn much
