Idk who is running 255 and 295 on AWD??? I personally would not reccomend that. I personally am running 255 and 305 which are the same diameter. 245 295 will be fine JITTY is running lowered on his car so if you are not the wear on your tires will be significantly less. A huge reason why my car is not lowered. AWD can be tricky long term we dont know the consequences of running staggered, but I recommend exact rolling diameters aka not 255 and 295 or a square set up with all the same tires. You have the correct staggered set up.

As i started to discuss above, I did the bubble level test and with the 245/295 I was within the level bubble. I lifted the level up on the 245 side to simulate the slightly taller 255 and the bubble was actually more in the center, so it is technically probably ok to do 255 as well. Those measurements on paper are not always 100% accurate. I would love 305 but I don't want to use that tire type..to my knowledge there is only one make and model worth getting in that 305/25 size which is Toyo Proxies if I recall. How do you like them? I hear they are noisy...but I would prefer the 255/305 combo. I have seen other posts and talked to a few shops who have done 255/295 with no issues..it is only 2/10" diff between a 255 and 295. AWD systems have tolerances to allow for slight differences..in some cases 3% but you should try to remain within 1% to be sure based on the research I have found...but if they are level once mounted to their respective wheels, it should be ok. the 245s have been ok for me so far. The best test from my subaru friends who do staggered wheels is to get both front and rear tire off car and get a string to wrap around the tires and mark off the circumference. then to the other tire to see truly how much difference it is. I am guessing the drywall level will do the same thing. If they are even, should be fine. i would like to hear your feedback on the 305/25s....still not sure if i will keep staggered down the road or not.

I saw that however, Im sure you are aware that every wheel and tire set up is different which is why they say dont run different brand tires. A different brand might have a much different diameters and 255 295 would not be level. I have those tires and personally I like them a lot many body shop, tire shops, etc have said toyo proxe 4's are good. This is only my weekend car so Ive only put on 2,000 miles on them since I got them, but so far road noise has been minimal compared to stock 19s ride comfort is not bad with the thicker sidewall Im pleased.
Will have to reevaluate by the end of the year after maybe 7.5-10k on them to be more thorough with my review.

Yup..I would never run diff brand tires. I wish that more tire makers offer the 305/25 size. The more I think about it..I think the 22x9.5 or x10 all around with 265 or 275/30/22 all around will be my next move. Staggered on an AWD is only cosmetic. I am looking forward to RodTs pics to see how these Gs look
