I may be late, but I'm glad you are ok! RIP to the cleanest LS in the city. Oh and I'm also ecstatic that they caught the runaway. Someone hit me and totaled my Cadillac a few years ago and I'm still looking for them lol

Man, sorry to hear that. A couple months back, my 07 smokey granite/black was totaled in almost the same way. Young girl runs through a stop sign at 35-40. Hits the driver front wheelbase at such force that her car spins and takes out the back wheelbase as well. I end up on the sidewalk where thank goodness I don't hit anything else. She has the nerve to ask what I did when she gets out of her car. I point to her stop sign and she's like, "oh' My 5 year old was in back and first question he asks is if we were in an accident. Second question: "Was it our fault?" With two young kids, I swear by the safety of this car. It did its job as far as the accident goes. I ended up replacing it with an 08 black/cashmere one. A major hassle, but you can replace a car, not your family.

Thx all for the kind words! I have been on the mend my back still is giving me issues but the Chiropractor will take care of that depending on how bad it is.
Just a little update, State Farm came through and paid off the car, far as the aftermarket items they can careless because it only adds value to the owner. I learned this a long time ago, however some ins companies offer extended coverage for custom paint, wheels etc for an extra cost. I will look into with SF this week for my future car. Last I just took delivery of another LS460 yesterday, different color, a lot more toys and its an 'L' so be on the look out for a new build thread with that info.
