Default New Warranty on old warranty

When I purchased my 07 LS 460, I purchased six year/100K extended warranty. Since it always starts when the year it was purchased my warranty will run out in December. I only have some 68 K miles on the car. I want to purchase another extended warranty from Lexus. Can you do this?

I know some of you do not like extended warranties but it paid for itself last month when the starter went out on my LS460. Extended warranty paid for towing and complete service for new starter. I know this was probably more than the cost of the warranty. So can I buy another extended warranty (since my car has low miles), on my old extended warranty?

as long as your car is under 100k miles i think you can purchase extra warranty up to 125k.

Default Extended Warranty

The way Lexus does their warranties, you have to cancel your old warranty and repurchase another warranty for the 8 year/125,000. I believe you will have to pay the full amount for that warranty which will be pricey for just two years more. I also believe you must purchase before the original powertrain warranty of 70,000 miles expires.
