I have a 2011 sport but think that grill looks a little cheap. Like the non sport grill the best out of all the options.
If I found an OEM non sport one on ebay that would fit right?

Are the grills the same size/fit for 2007 thru 2012

Thanks

No they are not the same. You'll need the 2010-2012 grille

Hand made.. (of course its the one I made myself) when I made it there wasnt an emblemess option..next go round I may choose the metal one but I'd still follow the factory paint scheme. .I think it flows better.

(I'm sure I did a build thread on my grille here somewhere)

And it looks great. You had me looking all over Fleabay.....LOL. I like it.

I thought about doing like yours and somehow incorporating a "L" Lexus logo, hood emblem that would sit flush against the hood, a la BMW style. I just don't know about the curvature of the hood and wheher it would work.

LOL. EXACTLY! I like the idea of a clean grill - all black. Just a simple L on the hood.

I scoured the forum looking for your grill post. Can't find it. I had hoped you had a build thread, but.......

Can you point me in the direction?

Shibumi:

Another question (and apologies to the OP for hijacking).....What did you use to fabricate the grill pieces?

I think I'm gonna PlastiDip my '08 red one.
It'll look like one of these. Doesn't look quite like the black ones, but better than all the bling.

Hey! I like your first pic. I already plasti-dipped mine last week and left the chrome around the edge of the grill. BUT...I do like the idea of blacking the ring around the "L"......

I find that if you black out the grill edge it looks out of place. It almost needs that border. It helps to bring in the other chrome from the vehicle without going overboard (door handles, etc.) I even added the door edge guard treatment under the grill in the valance:

I think you're right about the grill edge left chrome. Looks more like it belongs there rather than the afterthought that it is.
