I have to do mine one of these days. I have a set of new ones that I bought before seeing how easy it is to clean them.

Yeah when the ventilation is on you should be able to feel the breeze coming from the seat bottom

They really don't catch or hold much dirt. I highly doubt these will ever be replaced in my car.
sorry for reviving the old threat but I just saw it last night and decided I’d help the air flow issue by posting my self made K&N seat filter I just removed the material that was on it with a razor and super glued the K&N filter in its place

and I must say the seat is a lot cooler

For anyone still looking for a air flow fix I removed the old material they had and replaced it with K&N filtration and the air flow is much better I just super glued the new stuff onto the old bracet

and bam now you have high air flow seat filters

Could you explain what is a "K & N" filter? I'm assuming its some sort of material that can be glued to the existing frame.

K&N is a brand of engine air filters, mainly marketed as a high performance filter.
He probably used an old one that he had, snipped them and pasted into the seat filter.

If your looking for these... Keep an eye on this seller on eBay. They are a Lexus dealer, These are normally $12 through them (Part 88921-50020) , and they charge like $4.00 shipping but, to get 2, they only charge an extra $0.50 in shipping for the 2nd one...

It's where I look for most of my Lexus parts on ebay as I know they are an official dealer. They have very reasonable prices most of the time.

Default A cheep seat filter solution

I removed both filters and applied a vacuum cleaner hose to them. Looks good as new but they were not unusually dirty to begin with.

I guess it's a function of interior maintenance (vacuum the car) and the settings on the fan/temp for both seats. I've bought two filters and assumed the worst. I hope to just replace both filters and stop worrying about it =)

no just bought the cheapest one on the shelf and snipped away at it. I could probably do about 20 pairs of seats with what’s left over

I should mention the model is an '07 ES350 not a LS model.
I don't think this model has filters.

I was able to locate the filters in my F150 and the old ones look just like the ones pictured in an earlier post.

The new ones have no fibrous material, just holes.
