Buying used, any reason to go 2012 over 2011?
My long time Lexus mechanic tells me the 2011 & 2012 LSs are good to buy used as they've had relatively few issues with these year/models.
I'm trading my 2004 LS430 with 50,000 miles in for a NON "L" LS460, but I wanted to check with you guys to make sure before I put the search on and buy one.
Any issues with 2011s/2012s worth noting? Any differences between 2011 & 2012?
Thanks for your help.

I recently purchased a 2010 LS 460 L and it came with ML and I didn't even want it since I like talk radio. Have to say that it's amazing, sound is the best I've ever experienced in a car or just about anywhere else. Love it and would buy again.

Its not that the ML sucks in performance but there has been issues with the amp and a repair or replacement cost some dollars. do a search.

A tech was explaining to me that the 07 - 08's were clearly stronger with the "thumps" and because of that, the 09 + were fixed / toned down a bit for longevity.
I guess its all on how you use the car. I have some friends with pre 09 and 2010 + they haven't had a problem yet.
