LS460 SWB 19" OEM rims to 19" OEM Chrome. Opinions welcomed :)
So i got a little bored about how plain my car looked and decided to get the same rims except in chrome. I don't really know how I feel about it. But i decided to post the pics here for some opinions.

I saw a tech doing this exact wheel swap last weekend on a black ls460
the chrome flows much better with the trim overall..love those style oem wheels too!
and it was nice getting the extra centercaps to put on my car from the old wheels muhahaha

I am normally not a chrome person, but on the LS460, the 5 spoke silver or chrome look good to me. I think these in a machined finish would look awesome, but I don't think you could do that because of the slight cut and the curve of the spoke

or 21" AC Shnitzer rims:
These would flow good with my car because I have a silver car. We share the same 5x120 bolt pattern as BMW. I am just unsure about offset and if there will be any rub.

I'm with ya on the 21 bmw wheels. I have done a lot of research on them..there is a thread discussing it. There are two different offsets for the rear 21x10 believe it or not. I was thinking 21x9 all around since these wheels can be purchased around $1k for the set. And the concave is very nice on the 9s, plus you can enjoy a higher sidewall on the 9 vs the 10. They will fit with hub rings since the bmw bore is way bigger than our 60.1mm hub.
The style is BMW 128 and the 9" wide is 22mm offset and the 10" wide is 25mm offset. I ran 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers on my oem 19x8's which made my front wheels 17mm and rear 12mm offset and the fitment was perfect..pics in my 600hL build thread

i'm not a chrome type of guy, so no go on the chrome. the 21" BMW wheels would look very nice on the LS, the AC wheels would look good on a GS or even an IS, not an LS. your original 19" touring wheels are sweet, i love those wheels and soon will be ordering a take off set from Sewell.
