PS Bypass Module Install
I completed my install earlier today without a hitch what so ever.
The install took me a total of about 2 hours, as I was, again, being very careful and going a bit slow.
The thing that gave me the most resistance (I won't really say difficulty), was removing the radio portion of the dash.My nav screen, though tight, came out fairly easy without to much haggle.
This car is built in such a great, sturdy fashion.
Anyway, once I completed the job, I made sure it worked, and it works like a charm!
Very happy I did this mod as well.
My daughter has been begging to watch movies in the car, now it's doable!

But seriously, I figured that was the case.
Lawyer stuff?? Hope all is well out there...
I took a good look at your DIY and was able to obtain instructions from the seller as well as FreddyG (thanks by the way Fred), and all went well.
Like you said in you write up, it's very straightforward, just have to be careful.
You doing well out there?
I see your a 2 Lexus household now!

I'll be very honest with you...
Between the instructions and Roadfrogs write-up, you can't go wrong, unless you simply dont feel comfortable doing DIY type of stuff.
There's no cutting of any wires or anything. It's plug-N-play.
But when taking things apart, you do have to be mindful and careful not to bang or scratch anything up, as well as pinch any wires or mix-match connections on the back of the radio control unit.
Though even that's hard to do as everything is color codes and connectors are recognizable by size.
I'd definitely help you out if you were closer, no problem!
But really, if you take your time, it's very doable.

LOL!!! No worries buddy! You've helped with many, many other things, so you get a pass in this one!
But seriously, I figured that was the case.

I was going to try and install ours, but changed my mind about it and decided to put it up for sale.

It should sell pretty quickly.
While looking it seems like there were at least a few on ebay a week.
One for Toyo's and one for Lexus.
May take a little time, but if it's prices right, it'll move.
Good luck and thanks again.

I was simply assuming that you either didn't feel comfortable doing the install yourself, so I was assuring you that it was a relatively easy, straightforward install is all.
And that if we resided closer to one another, I'd help without question, but since we don't, if you were feeling the desire to tackle it yourself and not pay someone else to do it, you could absolutely do it on your own.
That all Sir.

When you say "work with this set-up", what do you mean?
I wasn't aware that the PS bypass module did anything regarding mobile phone platforms...
Or are you thinking of the VAIS module?
Don't have that one yet man...still looking...
