Default LS430 to LS460

Well figured I'd introduce myself in this new section, I've been posting a tad here & there. Browsing the great FAQ & DIY sections as well.

Basically I had a wreak 2/12/14 and thankfully my 430 saved my life, hit the windshield going about 60ish ( no seatbelt like an idiot)

I searched around for many different types of cars and trucks ( already own a truck, thought of trading it in & just having 1 vehicle) but after not being able to find another LS430 identical to my old one I started looking at the 460 and quickly became infatuated. I wanted a color car I'd never owned, then I saw Tee's car... So i found me one to my liking & was finally able to have the dealer meet me to do the paper work.

Car was a trade in at an Sewell Audi in North Houston, with 45k miles, 1 owner, all dealer serviced. Pretty clean inside & out with exception of a scuff on the rear bumper which the dealer painted at my request and repaired a few wheel curbs ( old owner was an older lady )

Love the car thus far

So far only things i've picked up for the car are Avest full LED tails, misc interior & exterior LED bulbs, HID's for the fog lights and I need to order the iVic ipod connecter this Monday.

Congratulations and welcome to the LS460 family!

You have certainly made the right move in my opinion, as i did the same (upgrade I mean, not wreck ).

Wow, glad you came out of that relatively unscathed.

Welcome to this forum, and good luck with your new car. You definitely picked the best color for the LS!

Believe me, its an error in judgement I can not afford to make again. The aftermath was the scariest part for me, If I would of had the same crash in my Colorado pick up truck I'm positive the outcome would of been very different. All of the officers and medics that came out to the scene spoke of how the car was a tank and handled the impact fantastically.

Here's where I hit the windshield with my head and hand, you can see both impacts... Any faster or harder impact and I could've gone through the glass maybe

I'm forced to now with the incessant dinging noise and the fact that it has to be on to use the "hold" feature.

Without the airbag you would obviously have been a dead man, not using the belt!

"Hard heads save lives" or something like that. Glad you are okay, but yeah, seatbelts man...they are there for a reason.

New ride looks nice. I like the color.

Believe me, I have been wearing it! LOL... The beeping drove me crazy, I was just backing out the driveway to move my truck.
