Great DIY jitty. I did the long process by taking apart the glovebox and I tied a couple knots in string that allows the glovebox to lower it down, this tighten up my glovebox. Takes about 35 mins to do the job.

The jitty zip tie fix worked for me in about 2 minutes. But then I gotta ask what the crap you guys are driving on for your smoothest car on the road to be rattling the glove box? Is there an off-road 4 wheel mod I'm not aware of?

haha!
You are from California and aren't privileged to have trashed roads from this bad winter we just had.
we drive in pothole hell and our suspension is working overtime as it is, but every now and then even on a smooth road you will hit a particularly sharp bum in the road and the jiggling glove box can be seen in your peripherals and is definitely a little disconcerting. lol

Maybe wrap the block part of the zip tie with some electrical tape to make it thicker? It's all about creating pressure. When I first did this mod, it was super tight, but over time it has become a little looser. So it depends on how bad your glove box is from the start. I plan on doing the electrical tape or a second zip tie just to see

This needs to be found. The dealership offered to pay for half the cost, but I still can't see spending over $500 to fix this. If it can be done easily, I'd rather do it myself.
