DIY: Nearly FREE Loose Glove Box Fix
Many of us have the dreaded loose glove box and subsequent rattle while in motion. Well, I had my old 460 fixed under warranty before it hit 50k miles but my 600 was out of 4y/50k warranty and CPO doesn't cover items like this.
So, I came up with a method to end the frustration without shelling out a bunch of cash for the "official" Lexus repair. I hope you enjoy the same success I have with this ridiculously basic DIY.

Thanks for this much needed fix CJITTY!!
I hate seeing the lines of the interior broken by the sagging and bouncing glove box.
now i can fix this for way less than the $2000 (just for the parts not including labor) Lexus claims it needs to get the job done.
Now for a cheap B-pillar fix. lol

Anytime..glad to help. I have done a few DIYs for my Lexus fam. Believe it or not, I have another DIY that is 100% free on how to listen to two different audio sources at the same time if you have the rear entertainment system.
I have been using this fix for the past two years, but just realized I never did a video to help folks out. I'm sure there are other things you could use but the length of the zip tie braces down in there to keep it from moving but it works.

Thanks for the video. I'm going to try this to at least see if can help it out until it gets fixed at the dealer. Mine is much worse than the one in the video.

Just did the fix, and was totally free in my case
I have to live with the glove box being slightly more open and thus the interior trim line is visually broken, but now it doesn't bounce around like an american car! lol

Great..maybe you can use two of them for added pressure? One on top of the other?

I tried fitting this around the latch in several spots, and 2 will only force the door slightly more open or further down than the rest of the interior line. . .
If there was a way to make the glove box lid latch higher up, it would have a two-fold effect, less movement and better visually (for my stupid everything-has-to-be-perfect brain)
I'm just annoyed by the saggy lid
