Hey guys, So someone in the hotel parking lot punched my car, all 4 doors and also somehow ripped my front seat with blade
I have called the cops and reported it vandalism.

So i want to know that would insurance replace the whole seat? and also I know that vandalism is comprehensive so i was wondering that would it increase my insurance.!

A comprehensive claim on your insurance shouldn't increase your rates, particularly if you filed a police report. They won't replace the entire seat, just the cushion and cover (and anything else that was damaged).

yes COMP. shouldn't increase your premium.
Good that you have COMP. to cover this. Hope everything turn out well.

it's always good to have some pictures of your car inside and out for future claims.

Wow, sorry to hear that happened to you, that really sucks.

Insurance laws vary by state. In Mass. it would not affect your rates.

I would think they would replace the seat, to reupholster would probably be at least as expensive.

sucks to hear about the LS, but they will replace the seat and anything else that was damaged.

i hate to hear that happen to you and i know that you were pissed because i would have been but what hotel were you staying in so ill know not to ever book with them because reading the extensive amount of damage that was done to your car would have taken some to some time to do. There counldnt have been any security

Comp will cover. No increase in rates. Haters **** me off. I'm installing Blackvue front and rear cameras. They can record while you are parked as well as driving in case you have an accident that is not your fault or some fool tailgating you too hard. I think I will be able to interface this with the dash nav screen via my vaistech module since there is an Android app that controls the viewing of both cameras.
