Default New to me 2008 LS 460

Hey guys!!! Just upgraded to the 2008 LS460 and I love it! Have lots of learning to do about the car. I do not have an owners manual so hoping I can find one online somewhere.

I moved you over to the LS460 forum no worries.

Congrats and welcome!

I can't tell by the angle but looks like a LWB?

Welcome to the madness! LOL

I do not have an owners manual so hoping I can find one online somewhere.
It's my understanding that if you contact Lexus Corporate, they will send free of charge.

Enjoy your new ride. I know I am.

It's a swb. That angle does make it look long. I have searched to no avail. Is there a way to tell if I have a sport model? I know the rims look different than other 2008 ls460's

Welcome. Be prepared to do all kinds of little mods to it. It's addicting. Check out the sticky at the top about the DIY. The led mods are simple and easy to do. I just finished doing all my LEDs and it makes a huge difference.

Check out this thread as well. It is cheap, but looks great.

For LED's, this may help you.

List of what LED's go where.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/8448942-post8.html

I bought one pack of these for the trunk, and interior doors.
Amazon.com: Jtech 10x 194 168 2825 T10 5-SMD White LED Car Lights Bulb: Automotive Amazon.com: Jtech 10x 194 168 2825 T10 5-SMD White LED Car Lights Bulb: Automotive

For the main interior lights, I bought the pure white 36 Smd panels. I used 2 up front, and 1 in the rear.

Or these
Amazon.com: NEEWER® T10 36 SMD LED Light Festoon Dome Bulb Lamp White 12V: Automotive Amazon.com: NEEWER® T10 36 SMD LED Light Festoon Dome Bulb Lamp White 12V: Automotive

For the mirror lights,
Amazon.com: 04-09 Acura TSX License Plate Wedge Bulbs SMD LED Hyper White Light Bulbs 194, 168, T10 (1 pair): Automotive Amazon.com: 04-09 Acura TSX License Plate Wedge Bulbs SMD LED Hyper White Light Bulbs 194, 168, T10 (1 pair): Automotive

For the nike lights and reverse, I bought these.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/221411080924...84.m1439.l2649 *You can get them cheaper from deal extreme, but you have to be patient and wait for them to come from China. I'm not patient.*

For the footwell lights, they are already LED's, they just have an orange cap on them. Tear off the orange cap with needle nose pliers, and you have white led's.

Hope this helps you out. If you want more help, check out the DIY thread and scroll down to lighting.

You car looks great! Do you have limo tint? That's what I had on my previous car. Will be tinting the LS soon!

nah, just 35% ceramic. must have taken the pics at a good angle. i want to re-do the tint and push it to the legal limits, but heard that it might be problematic because of the front driver and front passenger windows....
