Default Extend your Certified WARRANTY

As of a few weeks ago you can extend your Certified WARRANTY if it is still in the WARRANTY period.

Who would you contact to get plans and pricing to extend the CPO warranty?

Can you also extend the Platinum Warranty even though it's not "CPO"?

Call the finance manager at your local dealership (or maybe you have more than one local dealership). I believe you need to do this in person and, possibly, off the record. That's how I was able to get my Lexus platinum extended warranty, after the fact. Not cheap...... but neither are control arm bushings, water pumps, shock absorbers, etc....

It was painful for me to read warranty spelled incorrectly in all uppercase three times.

I felt the need to share that, sorry.

How much did you pay to extend the extended warranty? Mileage, Term? My platinum expires in about 25k miles and I'm beginning to weigh options. BTW it's paid for itself about 3x now. Thanks!

Wow, that comes to about $6000 in repairs. What broke?

I have heard that the front upper control arms are around 4400 by themselves, each air strut is around 1200. In my own experience, 1200 for the ML amp and ~900 for the sub and a few more hundred on a window motor.

It's pretty quick and easy to stack up more than your warranty's worth in repairs.
