So true. But when you live on on island, that doesn't matter as much. On the rare occasion that nav is required, my android phone works a treat (and is updated)! If I were on the "mainland," I'd probably opt for iVIC integration.

I hear ya, Lexus Navigation won't even work on Guam. Why pay for features you can't use?
I have a 2007 without ML and nav. I am not on an island either, but I do have an aux port in my console, if I am clear what an aux port is. I have a port that I can plug in an adapter with USB connections for my phone and Bluetooth setup to play tunes thru the aux setting on my standard radio by plugging an audio connection from my phone to an additional audio port in the console. I had to install a noise suppressor between the audio port and the radio to cut down on the buzz as it seems that I have to have the volume a little higher to get a good sound.
