So true. But when you live on on island, that doesn't matter as much. On the rare occasion that nav is required, my android phone works a treat (and is updated)! If I were on the "mainland," I'd probably opt for iVIC integration.

I hear ya, Lexus Navigation won't even work on Guam. Why pay for features you can't use?

By the way, do you have the ability to store MP3s on the HDD? It should be a feature of the ML system but I don't ever see the option to write to HDD.

Aloha bro!

It's just not fair how you have to suffer on that miserable island with no aux port. I should come out and commiserate with you!

Oh, a thought just occurred to me. Since you are in HI, is it possible your car was manufactured for the Japanese market?

I have a 2007 without ML and nav. I am not on an island either, but I do have an aux port in my console, if I am clear what an aux port is. I have a port that I can plug in an adapter with USB connections for my phone and Bluetooth setup to play tunes thru the aux setting on my standard radio by plugging an audio connection from my phone to an additional audio port in the console. I had to install a noise suppressor between the audio port and the radio to cut down on the buzz as it seems that I have to have the volume a little higher to get a good sound.

Not quite sure what you are describing, do you have a 3.5mm jack next to the 12v power socket inside your armrest console?
