I just removed the aux switch and googled the part number. Turns out a lot of Toyota's use it. Read reports of them going bad so figured it could be my issue... Seems like it possibly was

Yeah man $4k is ridiculous. No they weren't for sure what caused it. Was the only wire on the entire harness that was damaged...

My apologies. I have been meaning to update the thread. The music, well... it's like music to my ears

It's much more fun driving the car now I can listen to my own music and not be at the mercy of the terrible radio stations.

Every time I drive the car I am more impressed with it. Such a joy to drive.

Would make sense as to why AUX isn't bring recognized, but wouldn't explain any of the other issues I'm having...

So getting this part fixed your AUX? I'm having the same problem on my car, wanted to check before I buy.
