Default Lexus Link?

Searched the forum and only found threads from 2007.

So I have Lexus Link in my 2007 LS 460. Does it still work? I saw the subscription prices online, but not sure if it is still active? I highly doubt I would ever use it, let alone pay for it, but it is there I should probably know if it works.

I think Lexus Link has been replaced by Lexus Enform.

however I do not know if it works on pre 2013 cars.

Link allowed you to call Lexus. As I recall they could open your doors, find your car and help the police and help you in a accident.

Enform does the same except Destination Assist will download directions to you car.

If you press the Lexus Link button it will call Lexus and the person will explain how it all works. It is a free call so next time you have a drive make the call.

I think you can also use the system to make calls from you in car phone.

Lexus replaced it with Lexus Enform, I think they stopped offering it in 09.

Lexus Link is still an active department at Lexus, and you can click the services button to be connected to somebody that will set it up for you. They can do most everything Enform can except for actually downloading destinations into your GPS (they can talk you through directions, and you can record the conversation for later playback so that nice too. The calling feature is kind of expensive if you ask me but to each his own. I had an active subscription the whole time I owned my '09 GS460 and they were always pleasant to call into when I had a question, needed to know which rest stop had food etc. It is also nice knowing that someone will respond in case of an airbag deployment knowing exactly where you are.
