Anyone would be interested in a DIY for a dash cam hooked into the fusebox ?
Just wondering if it's been posted before for the ls460/600. I just installed one in my outback and I'm waiting for a second one for the ls600hl. The idea is an installation as discrete as possible with no visible wire and without taking up an existing 12v accessory. I can post a step by step installation with picture if anyone is interested when I receive the cam (and if it wasn't documented before of course). I did a carputer on my older car also, might try this as well with the LS.

i remember reading about this. it might have been on one of the other forums here. maybe it was the Lexus Audio, Video, Security & Electronics forum. it showed a guy mounting the dash cam behind the mirror and taking power from the mirror or dome light I forget.
he did as nice job as I remember and it had photos.
it might have been in IS or GS forum.
i tried to find it just now but I could not. You may want to hunt for it it may save you time.
If you do it please post. At some point I hope to do this.
good luck

Thank you and good luck with the install.
