I think we should not think of life-time as eternity ... no such car !
Are you the only owner?

That does not answer my question. I was just wondering if he had any proof to support his claim.

you simply do not understand how automatic transmissions work. “smooth” shifting is actually bad for the transmission because the software makes it shift that way to feel luxurious. “smooth” shifting actually wears out the 50 or so clutch packs in the transmission because it slips the clutch packs between gears to make it feel smooth. The very firm punch shifts in modern day sports car in race mode (like the ford mustang using the torque converter 10 speed automatic) actually causes the least amount of wear on the clutch packs because it doesn’t let it slip much and shifts into gear right away.

with all those materials worn off and floating around the transmission fluid pan, there’s much higher possibilities damaging the many check ***** and fluid pathways in the valve body. (also look at my post on my pan drop showing how much worn material is in the pan at one 86k miles)

Also did you not see the many other owners from other countries taking pictures of their owner’s manual showing the requirement of changing the transmission fluid in shorter intervals?

which is your absolute right. My Lexus dealer routinely does trans backflushes and fluid changes. Literally thousands over the years.

South county lexus in mission Viejo, ca is a Berkshire Hathaway owned store which is warren buffet. Fancy area. Well off customers.

Like was stated out of the USA the trans service interval is 60k miles. For advertising purposes Lexus allegedly wanted to show how inexpensive their luxury cars were to service..

mine shifted noticeably smoother after the backflush and the drained fluid was very dark with wear particles.
