I recently purchased a 2013 LS 460 F Sport CPO. I am having a problem when stopping. Instantly after coming to a complete stop, the car oscillates back and forth about 1-2 inches, 3-5 times. It is not severe, but it is somewhat annoying.
The dealer says it is characteristic of Brembo breaks and nothing can be done. I am not so sure. First the car is comes to a complete stop and then instantly shakes back and forward. The harder the brakes are applied, the harder it rocks back and forth after stopping. Otherwise the brakes and suspension are fine.

Is the Dealer correct or is there something wrong with the breaks or suspension?

From what you describe, it doesn't sound like a brake problem. It sounds like a suspension issue.

That is NOT a characteristic of Brembo brakes.

I agree it maybe a suspension issue since wheels have stopped just before it shakes back and forth and not an issue with F Sport brakes. Has anyone had this issue with any LS suspension, where the is an oscillation after stopping?

so when u come to a complete stop, the car rocks forward and backward? sounds like possibly blown suspension.

Our air suspension is adaptive which may mean that it firms up the front when braking and rear when accelerating (which would then cause the rocking if your suspension is broken).

Unless the brakes are lose, blaming the Brembos doesn't make sense mechanically.
