Default Swapping to ML and rear reclining seats Base 08 LS 460

I have a wrecked 07 LS 460 on my lot that has the same color interior and a few things that my 08 LS 460 does not. In theory I should have no issues swapping the full ML system over and the rear reclining seats as I have the full vehicle to my disposal right? I am contemplating the swap and was wondering if anyone on this forum had any issues.

Contemplating. "In theory" you shouldn't have and if so keep us posted on your progress. I would like to know.

Oh definitely keep us posted, cause I wanna see the outcome of this big project, and please take some pics of the before, during, and after.

I feel like it's a lot of electrical work. The rear door panels have the buttons for the seat. The front center console has the return button for the rear seat. This will probably be the hardest. The rear seat itself should be the easiest. The ML...hmmm I have no idea.

The days when they wired differently optioned car models with a common harness are long gone. You're going to be missing necessary wiring, connectors, fusing, etc. A nightmare is in your future. That said, keep us apprised. We love horror stories and this looks to be a good one...

Wow, that's some great motivation.
