Purchasing a 2008 LS
Good morning Folks!
So I finally am ready to buy a newer set of wheels. At first I was looking at the GX, but after some time I have made up my mind to get a Lexus LS 460 or 460L depending on the deal, mileage, options, price available in my neck of the woods. The car would be mostly for me as a daily ride. Sometimes two other people ride with me a few times a week.
Then I came across a 2008 LS600hL with 80k miles for $33K. It comes with all the options minus the Executive Package. All the headphones, remote, manuals are there. I test drove the car and it was great. Nothing seemed wrong with it. Everything works well. The black paint finish is immaculate and so is the inside. It has had no accidents and three previous owners.
So for the price and condition is it worth getting the LS600 or just waiting for a good deal on a LS460 in the area? Are there other issues I may be overlooking that I should consider?

Also the good news is that theres plenty of other LS600's and LS460L's all around the United States that has less miles and cheaper prices. So don't lose hope and stay vigilant, because another diamond in the rough might be right around the corner.

I purchased a 2008 LS460L CPO with 65k miles. It is obsidian black on black. Pretty much loaded minus the self park and rear DVD Entertainment.
I am vwry happy with it. . I posted pics on a separate thread.

I've always said: "if it's meant to be . . . "
Not to worry about the one that got away. The quest is sometimes more fun than the purchase. As mentioned there are lots of them available in the color and features you want. My 08 LS460 has a lot of great features, reasonably low mileage (52K), and black on black just as I wanted. I feel like I got a smokin' deal even with the trade of my 05 LS430.
Your deal is right around the corner!
