It's a cleaner as well. This from Meguiars' website:
The MSDS sheet for it:

I'd like to try that Griots. What's cost?

This is the Griot's interior cleaner.

When you use the cleaner with a microfiber towel you will be impressed with how much baked on grim and oil actually comes off the surfaces. The all in one cleaner/protector will never remove as much grime because it just moves it around and builds up the oily residue.
Then you can use this product for protection.

What I have always noticed is once you remove the build up the interior looks brighter not glossy. It also has the appearance of staying cleaner looking also.

Maguire's is ok but you can certainly see a bigger improvement with a dedicated cleaner.

Unless you've owned the car since new AND did all the cleaning/detailing yourself, there's no way to know what's been used to clean it. It's also my understanding that warranty coverage does NOT include trim pieces/wear and tear etc.
Like DevH, I use a dedicated interior cleaner...in my case Meguiars Interior Detaling spray. Very mild and very effective, with no film left behind or harsh chemicals.
Good luck.
