Default My Lexus site Service History more detailed now?

Seems like in the last week or so that all the records for my LS600 got way more detailed. Much more info is provided now like specific customer complaints and requests. Anybody else seeing the same thing as well?

You are right. It is much more detailed now. I have the old records, which was much more of a synopsis compared to now.

The www.lexusdrivers.com pages now look just like the dealer internal service write up notes.

I printed off a copy just in case they decided to make it less detailed!

Thanks for the heads up! I just reviewed the history of my LS600hL and discovered lots of details I was unaware of (several complaints of wind noise back in 2009 that were never fully fixed, despite lots of work done), replacement of front shocks/upper control arms right before I bought the car, Valve Spring Recall completion, replacement of both rear struts 15K miles back, etc.

From reading this more detailed view of my car, it jumps out at me that this car really hasn't been all that reliable over the course of its 6-year life.

On the bright side, it now has new brakes, new tires, a new battery, new front upper control arms, relatively new shocks/struts all around, etc., and hopefully will be more reliable the "second half of its life" (I plan to keep it for 6 years/60K miles, which is how long my extended CPO warranty lasts). Hopefully all of the problem issues from the 2008 model year have been worked out on my 600 so I can enjoy years of trouble-free driving. Glad to have the CPO warranty as a fall-back, though!

Your right, it's a lot more detailed.
I know my car was in a minor fender bender that was on the Carfax. I was able to find out the full extent of the damages and it was lot less minor then I anticipated.

Just wish they wouldn't clutter it up with loaner car and complementary car wash details - 75% of the text on my history!

I printed mine out as well. I saw it for the first time yesterday and thought that it was very detailed. It's always nice to see what the cars been through.

Actually the more detail the better. You can get a good idea what kind of person the last owner was. It appears that my last owner was meticulous about getting the car washed and detailed.
He or she also requested a lot of multipoint inspections needlessly and the thickens of the pads was noted which gives me a clue to how the car was driven. I suspect an older retired couple that made their way from FL to NJ based on where it was serviced. It also indicates that the owner made a complaint for an alignment issue which the dealer noted wasn't there. I can confirm that there is no alignment issue with the car.

Just read mine, hopefully the previous owners got their oil changed somewhere besides the dealer, otherwise my car got it's oil changed once every ten thousand miles. On the bright side it looks like I had my brake fluid replaced at 35k and I must of had my brakes replaced, because at 48k miles they were measured at 8mm thick in the front. Had the valve recall done 40k miles ago and the fuel rails replaced 60k miles ago. It doesn't appear that I've ever had the control arms replaced...that's not good.

Maybe there is nothing wrong with your control arms and you will never have any kind of premature failure.
Just because it has been reported by some doesn't mean that it is written in stone it will happen to you. If we were playing the statistics game the house is in your favor.

I hope you're right, either way when/if they fail I'm going to just buy the bushings and press them in my self. There's no way in hell I'd spend 2-3k on control arm bushings. Not happening.
