Default Where did you mount your Vaistech Ivic-D??

I installed my Vaistech Ivic-D yesterday and am considering my options as to where to mount it. It currently sits in my glove box until I decide whether to leave it there and properly secure it etc. Not sure I like it there. My concern also lies in the units ability to stay cool. I would prefer to mount it behind a foot well carpet or under the center console tunnel, etc.

So......ideas?

I had mine installed in the center console for almost a year with no issues whatsoever. YMMV

I didn't find enough room under the center console tunnel for it. I left it in the glovebox where I knew it would get some air and it didn't bother me there.

When you get it all set up, would you mind shooting a video of how it works and how you plan to use it. Would love to see it go through it's paces. Thanks! Ron

for most of my customers the unit is stored on the passenger side up front on the side of the center console. the area will budge out a bit but not much

So to clarify...is it mounted UNDER the carpet? If not, you still can't see it?

Good question! iVIC needs cooling. I have mine under the center arm rest but this requires to change things a bit more not to bend the cables, especially the video cable. I drilled a hole to plug-in the video cable into the iVIC from outside the inner box. It is doing the trick and not visible.
