Default New owner to start new experiences in the new year!

Sorry for the cheesy title =)

So after many nights contemplating, searching, researching and wanting...finally pulled the trigger and now owner of a 2010 LS460! Picked it up at a song, $24k for this 2010 with 99k miles, clean carfax. Has a good maintenance history, a little more scuffs and nicks than I would like (hey, it is a used car after all) and going to ride this out till the wheels drop!

Was surprised that this came with the comfort plus package, kids discovered the rear massaging chairs and recline during my initial test drive. When weather warms up a little in Dallas (lows of 20 today!) do a proper wax job on it, buff out what I can and get this to a Club Lexus level of shine

This forum has been a massive help in overcoming my concerns (i.e. 99k miles isn't much to be worried about for the LS), know what I need to invest in (plugs, filter change, coolant flush coming up) and how to baby this car!

Wanted to say hi, looking forward to an incredible journey with you all!

Congratulations on a great ride! Better get that front license plate on to avoid harassment by the Dallas cops.

Nice find! Congratulations! Looks like a great car and yes, there will be blemishes on the car's exterior. It's 5 years old. Those can be repaired and you'll be off an running! Enjoy.

Awesome! Drive it till he wheels fall off. Keep us updated on it's reliability - I think you'll pretty surprised that a luxury car of this magnitude will deliver great everyday performance. Good luck.

Gorgeous car, another SGM member in the family!

as for the comment about the license plate, get a hide-away plate so that you can show off that wonderful looking front bumper as much as possible!

Quick question, changing my spark plugs (leaning with NGK over Denso since its a small price difference), should I replace the coils as well?

I would stick with the Denso due to my tech saying (from his experience) our cars are finicky when it comes aftermarket spark plugs and no need to change the coils just the plugs.

Hey all another quick question. Just getting preventative maintenance out of the way, I'm getting the plugs changed (Denso, as per recommendation), coolant flush, changing all 3 of the filters.

Trying to think of what else, I know some of you recommend changing out the differential fluid (front and rear?)......is there also power steering fluid?
