So I did end up cleaning and even replacing both MAF sensors, but that did not fix my issues. I was very close to buying a new engine as my local Lexus dealer said my heads were warped, causing random misfires and the codes. My local mechanic before that, when doing a camshaft actuator job, said the timing chain was loose, and my misfires could be related to that. All in all, I pretty much just drove the car hard while I was out one day, thinking, if I'm gonna get a new motor, I might as well ride this one out. The day after, I started the car in cold weather, and no more misfires or codes were present. It's been almost a year, and the same engine is running flawlessly. I know it's super weird, but I think these engines are meant to be driven hard every now and then to keep all systems running, such as direct injection, VVTI etc. To refer back to the MAF connectors, I believe the, being broken at the plastic piece is normal, and they operate fine as long as the wiring is in tact. I returned the new sensors I purchased and still have my originals. Hope this helps!
