Control arms - dropped off at dealer. Update
Guys I dropped off the car today at the dealer, told them control arms might be bad.
Anything you guys can arm me with in case they try to give me crap about the warranty not covering the repair?
Also the alignment that should follow after, should that be a warranty repair as well? Or will I have to pay for it myself.
I'll report back as soon as I hear from them.
Getting a loaner on the way back from work.
Thanks

I know that the warranty my dealer attempted to sell me excluded control arms, due to the rubber bushings. Essentially anything rubber was excluded, due to it being considered a wearable item. It's my understanding that Lexus warranty WILL cover them.

Just got the call., they want to change all,the control arms, 6 or 8 she said.
Said they need to wait till Monday/ Tuesday for someone from warranty to approve.
Hope it gets approved, as it's a Lexus warranty that I bough when I was buying the car a month ago.
$5272 so far. For the front end .
Of course they want to change the brakes front and back and sell,me 60k miles service. Saying brakes are super low. Meanwhile the car passed inspection with flying colors just a few weeks ago.
Don't we have a low brake level sensor?
Looks like I'll be rocking an RX loaner for the better half of next week.

Yea their price to do brake job is a joke. You can get OEM rotors and pads and have the local shop do it for much cheaper. I just bought 4 oem rotors and pads set from mylparts.com and it comes out alittle cheaper then sewell.

To clarify, when I said "OEM", I meant genuine Lexus rotors. OEM "equivelant" seem to last, at least with the Raybestos ones I got - which came with a one yr warranty against warping and cost a fraction of Genuine Lexus..

Thanks for the input guys.
I will not be paying $800 for a brake pad job. I used to turn my own wrenches back in the day. So I know what's involved.
As for rotors . Mine are fine as of now, no warping. I'll buy the pads, shims and have it all done under $300.
They have me a white IS250 awd. Fun little car, but I already miss my 460.

I had a little IS250 as a loaner (2014, 8k miles) a week or so ago, was zippy but noticeably noisier than the LS....
