Default Replaced front shocks and sway links

Had been meaning to replace them for a while but just didn't get round to having it done even though I had the replacements in the trunk. Anyway got the front dampers and sway links in a few days ago and its like night and day. I look for places to go again......

And who did the work? Indy shop or dealership? Price?

Reasons I ask are it may help another member have an idea of what it may cost and also to compare with a quote he/she may have gotten

Yeah, no kidding. More info would be great.

Brand of strut? costs etc.

I intend to do this at some point as well. It's a straightforward DIY. Lexus allocates 1.5 - 2 hrs labor for both (w/o air suspension). Rears take a bit longer (3-3.5)

They were KYB 551122s I got them off Amazon for $235 for the pair. I had a local garage do the work. There are no Lexus dealerships down my way. Lots of Toyota though. Labor rates and stuff won't translate
Like they say the car is best when it's back to spec.

KYB's are the way to go. Those are the ones I'll be using from Ebay. I've used them in all my vehicles and they've never failed.

What about the sway links? Also, did you consider the sway bar bushings since you were already there?

KYB is OEM. They also make the air-shocks on all LS's. RockAuto has good prices as well. $104 each. Sway bar bushing go before the links do. I would use OEM bushings as much as possible especially if aftermarket is poly instead of regular urethane. If the car is making popping sounds as you lean into corners that is the links. if you want to firm up the front lean then do the sway bar bushings.

Agreed. I'll definitely be replacing mine while I'm in there.

Oh I did, The passenger side link needed replacement. Nothing else seemed to be in need of immediate replacement
