Default WiFi ELM 327 Question

Received my WiFi ELM 327 OBDII device from Amazon to use with the Carista OS Based App. It came with a small disk and no other paperwork. Do I need to load this disk? Do I need to choice my network? The device will not connect with my ipad? When it is plugged into the OBDII port I have a red light. When I first plug it in the light flash up the side on stop on the red?

You have to connect from the ipad to the OBDII WiFi first.

When the interface is plugged with red light on, you go to setting, WiFi and you will see the OBDII SSID, connect to it and then run the app.

No disk is required

Default That did it

Ok that did it. I am not an Apple person, so forgive me for the dumb question.

Don't feel bad, it took me a while to figure it out too😊
