Seen any LS460's lately ???
Of course we all know the LS460 is such an awesome car and have so many reason why we became owners. But one of the additional reason I bought was is that you dont see many on the road. So that brings me to this post. On a regular basis, how many LS models do you guys see on the road where you live?
I live in the Denver metro area and I would be lucky to see one 460 a week. I can usually see 1-2 of the 430's

I had commented on this before in another thread.
Though I reside in NW Indiana, I'm only 25-30 minutes outside of the downtown business/shopping district (the loop) area of Chicago. Aside from the single LS I see at the school my daughter attends from time to time, I'm lucky to see an LS every few weeks. However, I see more 430's than I do 460's. On average, I see a 430 probably once a week.

Never saw many until I bought mine. Then I started seeing a couple a day. Noticed I had a neighbor down at the end of the block with one as well same color but in a swb. Haven't seen many with the executive rear though. My service tech said there weren't many with that package around.

According to lexus site, there is only approximately 10,000 cars imported to the United states each year. More on a model update and less when the model is older. While chatting with a sales manager at my local lexus store, he told me that only bring in about 5 LS models to the store each year. They often sell more than that, because most cars they do sell, are special order. And offer the ones on the store floor often sell for less than sticker or become lease vehicles. Now that's only one store, and there are 3 lexus dealerships in town. I also asked about the executive back seat package. He told me that rarely sell this option. They may bring one in when the cars has an update or refresh just to showcase the car. But if they sell this option, it usually is always special order. And it's hard to push the price increase of $12K. I'm not sure if this is correct because we were just chatting, I was told only 2% or 3% of all the LS models have the rear seat upgrade. A little math tells me that each model year, only 200-300 cars each year have the rear seat high roller option

I drove my kids to Niagara Falls last summer, it's a seven hour drive and I took my wife's honda CRV. I was board so I started counting the number of CRV's I saw along the way...it was around 255...I only saw 7 Lexus LS460's.
I thought that was pretty crazy.
