Exactly. One day I'll get around to doing that. LED's "look" nice but do not provide the projection required....at least not those you can buy on Ebay, etc. New cars are coming out with LED headlamps etc, but they are a different animal from what you can buy online, especially when retrofitting to an older vehicle with a different system.

I swapped the bulbs out on the other car, and discovered a shortcut - only requiring a flat-blade screwdriver to change the bulbs.
1. Turn the flat head screw plastic rivets 1/4 turn either way to make them loose, then use the screwdriver to pry under the side of the rivet head to get it loose. Then pull it right out (2x).
2. Use the screwdriver to pry the inner liner out from behind the fascia lip so that it is in front of it (actually on the tire side of the fascia lip). Also pop the liner loose from the 2 rivet locations by gently prying the lip out slightly.
3. Get a finger between the liner and lip about midway between the rivet locations and pull towards the tire. Presto, you have access to the bulb!
