Need to replace both shock + actuator on rear

Just finished speaking with Lexus Canada, made it clear that I didn't wanted them to do the work for free but just working together to get it sorted. There was a revision in the part as per the service bulletin that point to a problem with the one they put in the car while it was being made. Was being polite and kept my composure even when they declined any offer to assist. Tech also warn me that the shock in front and upper control arm on the front wheel are about to go. I'm looking at over 10k in repair. Fair warning for those wanting to buy those car used. I think extended warranty don't cover the shock either am I correct ? So even with a warranty you might not be protected against those kind of failure.

Had same issue with my 09 460 Ls awd. Had 6 year 100,000 lexus warranty. Right shock and actuator was replaced on good will even though warranty expired. Dealer handled for me. 1800.00 if I had to pay. Was concerned about the left side but since no problem could not do. Told I was concerned they ended up doing for cost of parts only. Charged me 600.00 for parts which I thought was fair and no labor charge. It's a company car and we pass down to supervisors when they are out of warranty. The rear was done under warranty at 70000 miles.

I had my left rear actuator replaced and it was covered under my extended warranty.
